Architecture
This course is taught by Ms. Jeanette Rodriguez.
This semester long course is designed to challenge students to learn the principles of architectural design and problem solving through hands-on projects. Students learn drafting by hand to create floor plans and elevations. They learn three-dimensional drawing skills, such as axonometric and perspective drawing. They also make models of proposed projects. Elements of green design, knowledge of building materials, and structural principles are continuously interwoven into our work. Students are expected to both collaborate and work individually, and to gain experience presenting, critiquing and exhibiting their projects.
